Frequently asked questions

How long will it take?

It really depends on how extensive the damage is, but most repairs take around seven days. Simple surface repairs might take as little as two while complex jobs can take more than a week. We aim to have most vehicles in our repair centres within 48 hours of your first contact with us

How will it affect me at renewal?

It depends. If it wasn’t your fault and you didn’t go through your insurer it shouldn’t make a difference to your premium or renewal. If it wasn’t your fault and you do inform your insurer it may affect it negatively. If you were at fault then it will have to go through your insurance company, you can lose your no claims bonus and it will likely impact any renewal. 

How much does it cost privately?

It’s impossible to provide one price because ultimately it will depend on the extent of the damage and the complexity of repairs required. We can give you a competitive quote for the work to be carried out privately, using premium quality parts that will last. Any work will be done to the same exacting standards whether it’s through an insurer or you pay for it yourself.
